The Chipguide and or Mogh to me isn’t a price guide.
Which means quantity would be tied to as rarity.
The Chipguide Mogh is to me a Museum of things
that exist only and where and when they came from.
I think all this back and forth is unproductive and senseless.
Of course I do believe people should be aware of
Existing quantities for pricing
This obviously changes throughout the years as more are
found or sold that were unknown before.
I think the Chipguide should wash its hands of listing quantity
because it’s to Political as of lately and really hard if not impossible
to really know and keep up with.To many unknowns and proof
of existence.
These so called Hoards are all different in respect to what the chips
Rarity was from beginning to what’s known today.
Auction/ selling prices dictate to some extreme value rating etc.
Of course anything is worth what anyone will pay.
Fair enough.
Keeping all of this up to date is challenging and maybe should find
a better home for information such as this to be found.
Again in my opinion not the job of the Chipguide or Mogh
I think they should either eliminate all from individual chip
listings or separate it somehow, but like I said an impossible
task to keep a list as all is unknown and changes almost daily
so will never be up to date.
The Chip Rack is the only real Price guide and is kept up to date
by past Auctions or past pricing and Rarity known.
Also even as great as it is can only be a Guide as chips are sold
much higher and much lower all the time.
So good luck and hope someone or group will create a better way
to keep track of Quantities on a daily basis.
A twitter of chips perhaps and an ongoing list.
Maybe one of the Chip Sites can create ?
People might not agree or think what I wrote bunk or not knowing
what I’m talking about.
Just my thoughts and observations
That’s all.
Thank you
Torrey
