A hoard is a quantity that has a significant effect on the price. There is no set quantity. If a chip is considered rare, say less than 10 known, then a find of just 5 chips will greatly effect price. On the other hand, if chip is common, 1,000's are known to exist, than a new find of 100 chips will not have a significant effect on the price.

A suggestion ... if you want to see hoard quantities on the ChipGuide, then someone has to supply the information to the ChipGuide. Include a picture or other information for verification purposes.
