THE CENTRAL COAST CASINO IS ONLY A COUPLE BLOCKS FROM THE BEACH IN GROVER BEACH, CA.
WHEN WE WERE THERE WE PULLED INTO A PARKING AREA WITH OUR BIG 32 FOOT RV. NANCY BUSIED HERSELF WITH THE RV AND GETTING READY TO GO OVER TO THE BEACH. ALSO, THERE WAS A BEACH RESTAURANT WE PLANNED ON HAVING OUR EVENING MEAL AND WATCHING THE SUNSET.
SO OFF I WENT ON A SHORT WALK OVER TO THE CENTRAL COAST CASINO. I HAD NEVER BEEN THERE BEFORE AND I DID NOT KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT. IT WAS MID AFTERNOON AND THERE WAS ONLY ONE TABLE IN ACTION AND IT WAS FULL AND IT HAD A BOARD LIST.
THE CASHIER WAS NOT INTERESTED IN PASSING THE TIME WITH SMALL TALK ABOUT CHIPS AND COLLECTING, SO I REALLY DID NOT HAVE MUCH OF A CHOICE BUT TO BUY A RACK AND SIT DOWN AT AN EMPTY TABLE AND GO THROUGH THE RACK ONE BY ONE FOR THE BEST CONDITION ONES I COULD FIND. SO AFTER AN HOUR OF AMUSING MYSELF, I SOLD BACK THE REMAINING 80 CHIPS BACK TO THE CASHIER AND BOUGHT SOME $2’S AND A COUPLE OF 5’S AND STARTED MY SMALL WALK BACK TO THE RV AND TOOK A NAP.
BEFORE I KNEW IT, MY NAP WAS OVER, NANCY HAD RETURNED FROM THE BEACH AND WAS READY TO HAVE A NICE DINNER AND GET BACK ON THE ROAD NORTH, HEADING TOWARDS NORTHERN CALIFORNIA.
YEAH, I GOT MORE THAN ENOUGH CHIPS AT THIS HARVEST…REGGIE
