Originally the Lake House, the Riverside was rebuilt several times. The previous
one burned in 1922. I remember going to the grand opening when Jessie Beck had it and
watching her deal 21. Bill Harrah threw the first dice. The Corner Bar was a popular hangout
for locals. I enjoyed the acts in the showroom.
