~~~ plaques that were sanded down on one side with a tar-like cement applied and used in salesmans' sample books and display boards from Caro, Bdiotet and Jost. The backs still have a lot of the cement on them.

This is how they were mounted in books and on display boards and most are in pretty sad shape. Paying $10-$15 each...
