Emilio,
You suggested:
"3.) Per the excellent suggestion of Pete Klinger I would adopt a Creative Commons License Notice, Otherwise, as he states, "it's just asking". The site should say:
By exercising the Licensed Rights (defined below), You accept and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License ("Public License"). To the extent this Public License may be interpreted as a contract, You are granted the Licensed Rights in consideration of Your acceptance of these terms and conditions, and the Licensor grants You such rights in consideration of benefits the Licensor receives from making the Licensed Material available under these terms and conditions.
CC license explained: https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/
Which in short says, you must give credit to the source, or you can't use the free images."
However, the ChipGuide is an open website, logon is not required to access the site, anyone can access the ChipGuide without restriction. To implement what you are suggesting is not possible because we have not idea who would be agreeing to your suggestion, no accountability. The only way to implement this would be to make the ChipGuide a resource only for members of the CCA with a logon required. I don't think that this is what is wanted in our hobby.
