() Just like the postcards that have nothing to do with what was 30, 40 or 50 years earlier; no purpose, whatsoever... and what would we be saying " hay look. Here's a picture of a hotel that once had a casino 70 years ago and a dinner plated made in 1977 and a beer glass from 1984" and put a date after it? 
Or any building that once had a casino and put the new stuff from there in the guide with a date... ?
Nothing wrong with all the postcards, plates and hundreds of items that are from a time when gambling existed on the property but pictures and cups from a hotel that hasn't had gambling in 70 years is a bit too much, I would think...
