Steve I was lucky enough to buy right from the tables the 3 Hooters $100
Just before they closed.
Someone gave me a heads up they had some of the Limited editions out on the tables
So I drove down from the South Point during a convention and went to a craps table
and I showed him pictures of the $100’s and he picked through them and found the ones
I needed. I paid him the $300 and left.
Not soon after Hooters closed.
Joe Pavlick also told me the $1000 chip I’ve shown was one of the 2 missing from their rack.
He asked me how I got it, because even he had to beg the manager to buy the one he had.
I got mine from an old owner of the Sands, who had the one.
I really enjoy the Palms Playboy chips, being a Playboy chip collector worldwide.
I’ve got a lot including all the Hooters LE’s and Maybe all the Playboy Palms chips.
Some go for good $$$ especially the higher denoms. Hard if not impossible to get.
