It's made like a fine clock and the cards even rotate on rubies.
Contacted the museum and asked collectors with virtually no responses.
I expected a bunch of marker/counter collectors to bid even though the eBay description hardly mentioned anything except MOP and Silver which I think most of them didn't even know of the auction.
Appears it was also tucked away since the last auction in 1989 and recently surfaced...
There is nothing like this in any books, articles or even in the museum of counters online... and the few who did respond only wanted to know if it's for sale.
