During the pandemic, I drove cross country five times, taking a different route each time. One time I took I-80 all the way from New Jersey to Reno. When I was on the southern routes, my heart beat faster every time a saw a Buc-ees sign on the highway. It is the Harrods Department Store of truck stops. You can buy virtually everything there. And the number of gas pumps is just mind blowing.
