Please show me just one set of a home poker chip set, that have some appearance to actual casino chips, and are "cleared indicated as such". I've not seen one. The Borland fakes are marked with an opening and closing date that give collectors an idea that they may not be casino issued chips, although they could still be more clearly indicated. All of the home poker sets that I've seen have no markings whatsoever.
I am in no way trying to divide. I am trying to say that collectors have little interest in "fakes" and that set collectors should understand that if they want the two hobbies to get along with each other. It would be great if the poker chip set collectors made one side of the fake chips obviously not a casino chip, like the example below of my personal chip. One side is a reproduction of $1 chip from Wilbur Clark's casino in Havana and the other side is my contact information. And note this is a plain mold chip, the HCE mold is part of the image that was used to make the chip, an additional indication that the chip is obviously not a real casino chip.
