I know you can't hold the Chinese companies responsible. That's why we would hope the Americans and (possibly) Europeans who are creating and buying the repro chips would be more sensitive to potential negative effects to others. We have seen various types of repros made for almost as long as I have been collecting (maybe longer), but they are getting closer and closer to the real thing and the potential for fooling beginners is getting more and more likely.
Have there been any discussions about this topic on PCF? I am not suggesting there haven't been, I am really wondering. I ask because all we see is people on here who are responding to comments on this board and so become defensive (understandably). So, it appears that there isn't any concern about this, when I'm sure there are those, possibly many, who understand the concern.
