The Chip Guide is not the Chip Board. The Chip Board is privately owned and maintained by an individual. The Chip Guide is owned by the Museum of Gaming History (MOGH). Neither the Chip Guide nor the Chip Board is the CCA. The CCA is the casino collectibles club. The MOGH is owned by the CCA but has its own separate Board of Directors. I know it's nit picky, but the three things are not the same.
FWIW, I was not CHIPGUIDE on PCF. I don't know who it was, but I have my suspicions. I believe the poster was trying to act on behalf of the Chip Guide to try to protect the site from losing rights to the images on it. Why people have a problem attributing photos they have taken from the Chip Guide to use elsewhere is beyond me. It's not a particularly difficult thing to do and probably takes less time to type "image is courtesy of the Chip Guide" than finding an image, copying it and copying that image to the PCF. Do you know why people are so resistant to giving credit?
