From my understanding most of the sets were using real chips. I get that the $1s in the set for Aruba Palm Beach weren't the real ones. They were originally Vegas World $1s, that's something I didn't mention in the video because I wasn't trying to highlight the murdered chips. I've yet to see Aruba Palm Beach $1s in quantity and I'm sure if they were out there available the person with the set would be using them to keep the set authentic. Sorry I didn't highlight that...
The $5s, $25s and $100s of that set were real though from what I'm seeing on ChipGuide: http://chipguide.themogh.org/cg_chip2.php?id=AWPBAP&sort=type

Then, the Casablanca set... Sorry I didn't mention that the 50 cent chips weren't original. They were Horseshoe $2.50s originally and the $1s were Casablanca $2s originally. They weren't my ideas to create those chips, but those that wanted to make a set with chips that worked. They were relabeled so that means they took the original labels off and then put the new labels on.

100 x $.50 (HS $2.50 Gear relabel)
200 x $1 (Casablanca $2 Gear relabel)
200 x $5
100 x $25
20 x $100
Not my idea again and I'm not trying to promote it if that's what you think I'm trying to do. I'm just trying to highlight what cool chips are out there in the world. If what I'm doing is making your collection worth less, then that's the total opposite of what I'm trying to do. I want to show the world and our hobby what great chips are out there. If it comes down to the point where I need to start pointing out fake and real chips in every video then I'll do that. If that's needed... I don't think it is, but seems like it. Again, I'm not trying to promote making fake chips. Take a look at these sets any you'll see that 70-80% of the chips are the real thing. They relabeled or overlabeled chips are there to make the set more fun, stand out and be more bright. They want to use edge spots and have "edge spot progressions" in these sets. Sure they could use a solid $1 like the Aruba Palm Beach had, but why not make the set more flashy with something that has edge spots. I'll leave it at that.
