I'm think of taking up "study of graphology" 🤠and maybe I could pick the March Madness Brackets better next year?
I was reading that after the 15 beat the 2 there were some minuscule number of unbusted brackets. After the 1 went down to a 16, no one was left. And that's the first weekend!
First ever in history that all the #1's were eliminated. (SI says 4th time?) Maybe that was before the final 8? The 2023 Final Four seed is set -- and none of the teams are top-three seeds.
That's History and the odds. It's possible that a new row could be added for the #9, but No. 4 UConn is the highest seed still standing and No. 9 Florida Atlantic is the lowest, with 5-seeds Miami and San Diego State completing the unforeseen group of regional champions. If a 5 wins, that's a first? And for the #4 it will bring up that percentage.
A miniscule .00005% of CBS Sports brackets had this Final Four.
So much for history and trends. This year is pretty much busting all of that data.
I picked a terrible year to bet every opening game, by seed? Last round I took all of them by Las Vegas odds, not seeds. Fantasy Pool.
6:09 p.m. ET (CBS) No. 9 FAU vs. No. 5 San Diego State (-1.5)
8:49 p.m. ET (CBS): No. 5 Miami vs. No. 4 UConn (-5.5)
OK I'm putting it all on UCONN, double down!
