This is not the military.

Nothing can be easier like standing at a door and check badges for two hours. You will meet somebody new and learn something, worth 2 hours of your time.

Sell merchandise at the promotions table. You will see a lot of people who never knew about this hobby. Again, you will meet some members, talk a lot here and learn something, worth 2 hours of your time.

My volunteer story, I started at the Promotions table, worked it for 2 years at 2 hours per year, now I do much more.
I've met many club members and have more fun now than when I just came to the convention.
