This one example is pre-WWII and a lot of paint with a slight sign of rust... and leaving it as I found it.

I think the majority of what I found through the years were well maintained because I have seen example in stages of total crumble.... The tough job was finding the right original saucer sizes which were way thicker than the pot wall and heavily steel reinforced...
