The document says that the first Whist American congress was in April of 1891 so maybe this date of the 27th of April in 1891 has a connection...and, I sure thought that every Whist collector in the world was going to bid in the last few minutes and then realized that maybe they never knew the auction existed since the word Whist wasn't in the title or in the description...
