Several years old, in fact; drove down to Coronado some years back in hopes of finding 100,000 silver dollars on the sand. The ship had been again covered with drifting sand - apparently the currents are relatively strong off Coronado Beach. Look at the photos. Not a great idea to get anywhere near the jagged metal frame of the Monte Carlo. If any silver was salvaged . . . it would have ended up in the coin shows, forty bucks a silver dollar seems to be the going price. Eeee eeeee eeee! Oh, sorry, Mr. Jellyfish, I stepped on your nose.
