Thanks. Once open, like I show in the photo, the chips can not be taken out. They appear to be forced in and do not move as if they are wedged in.I have one chip that was sent to me in a plastic capsule and the chip comes out as soon as I turn the bottom part of the capsule over.
Just an idea, drill the clear plastic, behind the white ring, only enough to get through the back clear part. Press with a small nail or blunt pin of some sort, to get that white ring, out of the case. At that point you should be able to push the chip out of the ring, with just your hand?
If not you will need another ring that's larger than the chip, and has a hole smaller than the ring. Press on the chip, with something large and soft, like a towel with your thumb, and it should come out of the white ring.
I can't imagine it's glued or welded into that white ring. But anything is possible.
Shallow hole in the back, behind the white ring, not the chip, press it out?
A little less delicate, saw through the clear plastic in various spots, down to the white ring only, and break it off.
