My dad was there on that morning. He was on a repair ship named the Medusa. They were anchored between Ford Island and Pearl City. His ship got credit for downing two planes and sinking a mini sub in the harbor. He never really talked about it at all. The strange thing to me was, my grandmother got no information about dad for over a month. She didn't know whether he was dead or alive. except for the attack little info was circulated to the public.
