Everyone worries about what THEIR post office does when they mail a package but very few here every consider what happens at the receiving end when the package is delivered. My post office (08080) for instance will consider anything rigid as a PACKAGE and even if your post office accepted it with Non-Machinable postage, MY post office will consider it a package and charge me postage due for the "package" rate. This happens to me all the time.
