I won the lot that included Flags, and C mold and Lyres. Looking forward to more learning about old chips, and more fun collecting.
"The Chips illustrated above are the latest development in Protection Chips and are now in use in many of the best Clubs in the country. They have practically supplanted the inlaid initial chips and we can supply them with one, two or three letters in standard design on each side. We also furnish these chips with individual monograms of special design as well as with trade marks, Fraternal emblems, Club insignias, etc.; in fact we can duplicate any design applicable to a Poker Chip. Special designs will be produced in quantities of not less than 1000 at list price as this work requires a special die and we do not duplicate special designs except for the original purchaser. Should a smaller quantity of special design chips be desired we will be glad to quote prices on-application, prices varying according to the number required due to the expense of creating the special die. The two center chips represent types of special designs, all others being standard.
These chips are standard Ha inch diameter, thick square edge, guaranteed to size and stack perfect and to be unbreakable The design of the chip is individual with us and cannot be purchased elsewhere, the large Casino C 'encircling the chip adding math-daily to its appearance. This is a "live chip" with contact on the edges only and can be stacked much higher than ordinary chips. The embossed designs are finished in gold and a rack of these chips is indicative of quality Chips are supplied in all colors, square edge only and satin finished.
In addition to letters and monogram designs we supply these chips with numerals to use as markers and with money values. This last feature eliminates the necessity of using lammers which have always been a source of annoyance."
Thanks all for the advice and help. All of the C mold chips are without any other markings. The advertising chips are interesting.
