I haven’t received a ballot (yet?) but I did receive an email from James asking for my vote (nothing from Jerry - yet). I’m not that private about my email address, but I am curious/concerned that the club’s membership information is allowed to be given out to anyone who requests it. I live in Reno and joined SNCCC just to support the club, even though I’ll very rarely attend their meetings and would never presume to get involved in their business. I did have a dealer table at their fall show. Seems like a better way for candidates to get their message into members’ hands would be to have it be emailed/mailed out by the board member responsible for maintaining club information. Keeps that information private. Emails should be bcc’d for privacy. Just my 2 cents and food for thought to all clubs about information privacy.
