Just ranting. Hadn't been to Argosy Casino Alton for a couple of years. Stopped by today on the way home from Pere Marquette State Park to see the fall foliage. They had only 5 table games open on the first floor. The second and third floors were closed and I was told that they had been closed for over a year. Went to the sports book and asked about betting the horses and they told me that they only accept bets on sporting events. I asked how did they stay in business and I got a nice wave from a tall gentleman in the sportsbook. Don't bother stopping. It was not worth it.
