It was a cavalcade of tokenation at Kobey's. Guess I never did score a chip but I managed to come away with plenty of treasures.

First item I spotted was the Elks Mother Goose Token (or as she is known to us in Sun Valley, "Madre Gusano"). Figured if it was from El Cajon, it had to be connected somehow to gambling. Found many more tokens at another coin dealer's space including something that Big Al might have played with.

Finally, the Sam's Town brochure shows how some of those commemorative brass medallions were distributed. Never saw one complete with its presentation package. Madre Gusano herself is flapping her wings with joy. She's not making much noise but I can hear all the cars on Main Street following her going "Honk, honk, honk!"
