If anyone wanted to talk about a club that failed, it would be the Floridinan club. We were originally a well-organized club where even though our membership was spread all over the state and beyond, we had excellent turnout at meetings; especially those at sea for a day and at the Florida United Numistmatist Convention that had shows bigger than the ANA. We also issued chips each year for several years where each club member had their membership number on the face... and every new member who would sign up and renew each year, they received the next new chip issue at no additional cost... something I recommend other clubs try doing...
