Maybe the house paid out in US gold an there were

~~~ 5, 10 and 20 chips, as was the coinage and, maybe the game was in Mexico, if not the West where gold was preferred over paper back then... Seems to be way too much wear off of the red rim for a personal home set and more than enough uniqueness with the Three Leaves having the same border and not a stock/generic (one unit), I seriously doubt something this custom stopped at the 2½ (as the Indian 2½ reads).
