Today we talk about the newest hoard of chips to surface onto the internet and those being the Dixie Duck Showboat chips. These are from a day cruise that operated in Florida in the 90s/late 90s. Similar to other boat casinos that operate in the US, they must leave "US waters" into "International waters" in order to gamble. So, the Dixie Duck used to motor 13 miles out into the waters for its customers to gamble. In 1995, the Dixie Duck was moved to Key West to be used differently. These chips are sought after by collectors and the harder ones to find are the 50c and the $1s, sometimes the $5s too. The $25s and $100s seem to be somewhat common.
In this find the quantity counts are as follows:
$5s: 200+
$25s Slightly less than 400
$100s: About ~80
