1) I am not aware of any performance issues with the ChipGuide. Certain functions, like the ChipGuide Query Facility and TradeMaker, use a lot of resource so they may be slow at times.
2) ChipGuide information is stored in a database and it is possible to output the contents or a subset of the contents in spreadsheet format. And that function has been implemented. It is not available to ChipGuide users, only the Webmaster can use it. That is because the ChipGuide supports all the authors who have written books about casino collectibles. If it were easy to download a spreadsheet with all the text information about the chips from a state, like Nevada, then no one would buy the book. Plus someone could download the data and then they would have a copy of the ChipGuide database. I know this is not an ideal response, but I don't have a better solution. Any suggestions?
