Hi Folks, tis the end of summer and the beginning of hurricane season. It appears on the big weather map that there is several hurricanes lined up off the coast of Africa.
Folks, if you care to send me an email as to how to handle the situation when you need to make offers for chips that are displayed on the CB. Also, what recourse to take when you are denied the opportunity to buy the chips after being rejected on the first offer. In other words, “One Strike and You Are Out”
I am just about out of 30 pocket vinyl pages, if you have any used ones that you would like to sell me, please shoot me a line. I really need them for shipping.
I want to personally thank all of my hold service customers for all their requests during the months of July & August.
When you receive your packages of the clay treasures, please let me know, thank you Reggie

Every Saturday: A message to the CB Readers
And on every Saturday another “SPOTLIGHTED SPECIAL FEATURE CHIP(S)”
Years ago while I was doing “My Page-A-Day” I would publish one of these “Chipper Tips”. I am going to try to include one each Saturday, up date it if I feel it needs it. Hopefully, this will still help a few of us remember to do the right thing when the subject matter is in question and folks if I am wrong PLMK, sincerely…Reggie
I would like to take a few moments on the word offer(s) and to the occasional appearance of this word in my pages or posts. Most folks are cognizant of the meaning and how it applies when a price is not provided at the end of a listing.
However, there may be a few of you that do not. It might be because you are new to the hobby or you are used to other businesses or hobbies that treat it differently.
To me and I may be wrong, but it means:
• A price you may have previously seen, recently.
• A price based on scarcity or rarity.
• A price based on demand
• Not a lowball price to see what flies
• If you are not sure, it is better to just ask for at least the last price it was sold; if the seller has this price he will respond accordingly.
If anyone has any better points applicable to this subject; please let me know, and I will include them in this note. Sincerely Reggie
PS: Currently I was asked to make an offer on two Montana chips, my offer was rejected, because I was told it was to low, I asked the seller to name the price. He then withdrew the offer to sell. I do not believe that is the way to handle things. I would of paid his asking price, should he ventured one even if it was 2 or 3 times what I offered. And in this case, I would have been paying way over their value. Just Sayin’…Reggie
I still have a considerable amount of post cards available (about 440). I have an excel I can send you to check out. From your viewing of the post cards available in the excel; you can order one post card, all the postcards that have your favorite casino included in, or buy me out (the entire lot). Remember there will be postage for each order.
