I never thought of this before it was brought to my attention but the plaques are already made so the voting had to have been done before the Convention. I know some people weren't aware two nominations are needed. I searched the Club website and couldn't find anything about the process.

I think maybe some changes are in order. I am not sure what at this point. I'm thinking a little more openness, but I can see both pros and cons to that.

I like the idea that the HOF members vote in future members, but maybe some fine tuning is needed.
