Quick version is that the Southland was the headquarters of Benny's Dallas gang as well as a casino. The entire second floor was hollowed out and filled with craps tables.

Chips with an alphabet soup of letters were addressed to the Southland. I counted 620 boxes of chips sent there, that 62,000 chips. And those are just the ones we know about.
