I never tried to by the set from Eisenstadt, because I knew he wouldn't sell it. After he died I contacted Potter Auctions regarding the disposition of his gaming material. They asked me if I was interested in the Josephine set. Of course I was. At first they told me they would list it in a auction. Then they changed their mind. And then decided to accept offers, I made a very generous offer, and I know of 2 other ivory collectors that also made offers. I did not hear anything from them for a few months. I was then contacted again by them asking for a new offer. By that time I was no longer interested in the set. I always had a bad feeling about the 1 missing chip, and I have my own feeling about where it went. To this day I have no idea about the whereabouts of the set. I certainly would like to have one of each for my own collection, but the whole set no longer interests me. My guess is that in the future this set will be broken up.
