I was quite fortunate to get that car for 500.00. when went into the Navy Aug. 1969, I let my wife , at that time my girl friend, drive it while away in the Med. when I got home in 7 months from my tour, the transmission was slipping and wanted to put a slush box in , but she couldn`t drive it, so, her brother and I put another auto trans in and drove it for a while, then when we got married, traded in on a 1965 dodge dart. What a shame, but I had to make sure the lovely bride felt safe driving something a little more reliable. Ron
