Loved reading, Reggie. I ran into an odd problem in a casino in Germany once. I had acquired everything I needed except for the dreaded 2.5 euro chip, so I bellied up to a €5 21 table resigned to playing until I got a blackjack or bought insurance. However, I noticed that the norm in this neck of the woods was to immediately gift the dealer with the 2.5 chip when receiving a blackjack. Everyone did it. I didn’t want them to hate Americans, so when I finally got a blackjack, and was paid 7.5, I threw the surprised dealer the €5 chip instead of the snapper, which I put in my pocket. Everyone at the table looked at me like I was nuts.
