I remember many Reno casinos had no front doors -

you could walk right in to the nearest slot machine. Closest thing to it in Las Vegas would be Binions and the Fremont along Fremont Street. Gosh, what would have happened had they named the main thoroughfare "Binions Street"? Nice collection of matchbooks - looks like the manufacturers were using stock images in the rush to create "patriotic" themes. Wonder what sort of alternative wartime industries were available? Oh, maybe "lioaded dice"?
