The article by Denbrow is longer than the usual club magazine article. The first half is in Summer 2018 (Vol. 31, No. 2), and the second half in Fall 2019 (Vol. 32. No. 3).
The small key and hub mold chips you have likely date to between 1946 and 1950. It is my general understanding that the Burt Co. did not have access to those molds cups until they were transferred over to Burt by the USPC Co. around 1946/1947.
If anyone knows more about when Burt began to use the small key or hub molds, I would like to hear about it.
