Chips as long as there not a super valuable one then I don’t or I’m really very careful and almost always just use soap and water and maybe a toothbrush lightly.
Damp dry with a kitchen towel.
I’ve oiled really dry ones too, but again either don’t or very careful with high end or expensive chips. I like to see the original colors pop and sometimes the gold hot stamp comes back
without any loss and shines through again.
