This is similar to what James told to me on the phone and I can now put two and two together.

The few things that are making me say or hoping that these would be the real deal is that they are:

1. They are leaded and represent that weight. Sure TRK would have made chips later on, but into the 90s a majority of what TRK produced was not leaded (from what I have seen & heard).

2. The quantity is much more than what quality control would pull out because of imperfections or minor imperfections. At least what I would think was pulled.
(These chips don't seem to have any imperfections that I can see, even if they are minor.)
