Please continue posting. I have no idea if these chips were reproduced or not? They are fabulous either way. I have posted many things about wrong chip ID's ( with proof) over the years and was chastized sometimes because I was " disrupting" the hobby. I stopped posting for a long time because some old dinosaurs didn't want to see any changes... truthful or not.
So...I leak out some info from time to time, but California ID's...there were probably 60+ wrong ID's for chips when I aquired CW Rice cards. There are probably still 35-40... But people don't like changes.
You will notice on some of these Chipguide listing are still listed with the wrong location, but with a note saying that the chip order cards say something different..
Look at B & S..why keep them listed as Bowring and Shipman?? Clearly the card says they were sent to a guy 500 miles away?
They only produced 500 chips...can't have a Cardroom with 500 chips. Personal game... simple.
So..I've been in your shoes...keep pushing on. I appreciate you. Sorry if I got off topic and ranted.
