Originally, they were used for promotional free prime rib dinners. When TRK made salesman samples and prototypes, they would often use inlays that they had on hand or really liked. Kings Crown and Midway Chuckwagons are just two that come to mind. You can see how they varied the colors and inlay shapes. Really a testament to the beautiful chips they could make.
