The inlay is the Key piece to THC vs RHC

Inlay Size = what mold is used in most cases.

Here is a example of different size inlays

Circus Circus (CC) went with x2 different sizes on their newest chips- Grand on the $1's & $5's and Giant on $25 and up, this is why they have the mix molds

what changes a price on a chip?
many things can change a price everything from Inserts, Inlays , Security features and Chip size.

RHC actually cost more because of the larger inlay.

Why are more casinos going with the larger inlays if it cost more?

maybe GPI Sales Rep and the casinos don't know any better and it became the new standard
The graphics might work better on a larger inlay or look better.
or it could be a number of other things.

Will GPI be around for a long time?
