Yep. I know many collectors have multiple areas of interest. Mine is intentionally specific. I don't want to be that guy with a 40' container in my back yard filled with every imaginable piece of casino memorabilia. I DO want to come see yours and everyone else's, so I encourage everyone to broaden their collecting horizons. But for me, I know what I want. And I also know that what I want is unlikely to be 100% fulfilled (one $5 chip from every Nevada casino that ever existed). I'm not yet retired, and have other interests that I spend time on. And I SHOULD be exercising more and taking my wife on vacations, etc. So, the more focused I can be, the better off I'll be (I think).
My 2 tables at the convention are going to have every item I have that is not part of my primary collection. I am hoping it all gets purchased by people who WANT these items in their collection. I'm not giving it away but I am making good deals so I can drive home with an empty truck (except for chips I find to check off my list). I had an offer for everything recently, but it was too low for me, considering all of the unvalued non-Nevada chips, silver strikes, tokens, matchbooks, and other "stuff" that was being included.
Anyway, it's all good. Getting excited for June. See you there!
