On their last day in Paris after touring in their own car and visiting casinos, shops and picking up some pretty rare stuff which included a stop at CARO (prior to being sold) which topped off the haul; thay returned to their hotel for the night and instead of leaving the treasure in the trunk of the car over nignt, they decided to unload everything and bring it all up to the room for safekeeping; even the golf clubs which was the first carried up to the room while leaving the trunk lid open and, upon returning to the car verything was gone.
