I've been thinking about the President position for some days now after what I posted the other day on here. Thinking about if I really truly want to go for the President position now with everything that goes along with it and I do not think that right now would be the right time. I would like to see more of what goes on behind the scenes of the club, whether that be from a position on the Board of Directors or maybe being more involved in any way that I can. I have to think about things in the long term. I'm young, much younger than many on here and in the club, which gives me time to learn more about what goes on, progress within the club and more. That list could go on and on. Ultimately I don't want my drive for this hobby to be lost because I decided to take a position that I wanted, but I didn't really know what it was all about and all the inner workings of. There is still tons of work that I'd love to do with videos, researching, learning about these older casinos, the chips and those that have been in the gaming world. Along with that, I'm in school (almost done with university) which takes up a majority of my "free" time with work and other activities too. There are many others in the club that have much more time than me on their hands that would fill this position better in my opinion. With that, I feel that it's best that I take a step back, enjoy my time and keep doing what I have been. I know that there are many that were behind me and wanted to see me possibly win and I really appreciate it. Seriously. I always say that I don't understand the support that I have, but sometimes I don't. It makes me smile, laugh, get giggly and emotions like that when I see positive comments about my videos or even memes that have been created with my face on them. That's what makes my day and those are memories that I will cherish forever.

I really get excited when new chips are found from small places that there might not be many chips of in the world or when I find some information that could be a lead to something much larger. I know there are others that do the same. There are so many projects I can work on in the near future. Like I said, I wouldn't want my drive to be ruined because I decided to take a position that I wanted, but truly didn't understand.

Not sure how many saw this on my post the other day. "While I appreciate the talk of creating a new position to address the social media aspect of the club, my efforts and attention, will be directed in the improvement of the club from where it is now. Should the club take a well needed redirect I will of course lend a hand in anyway I can and in any position offered I think I may be able to help in. I do appreciate that everyone says I could possibly be the face of the club one day, I believe that there is some work to be done with taking a step into social medias and creating content that could help us fly. As I stated yesterday, algorithms today work in crazy ways. Videos get picked up and views/likes/comments skyrocket if its something that many enjoy. Moving onto new platforms and creating content on them would help grow the audience exponentially which could later help grow membership, convention audiences and more." This is what I'd like to do within the club. Help move it forward with the use of social media and creating a larger online presence. Things that will take time, but will be well worth it.

I believe that others will agree with me and I hope that no one is upset or feels as I did something wrong.

This is what is best for me at this time. There will be another chance in the future once I am better prepared and things will be different then.
