I'll say this much about sellers who keep promising it's in transit when it never showed as accepted by the post office:

After getting my refund from Ebay, not a single one of those items showed up in my mailbox. If they had, I would have found a way to pay the seller, but not a single one appeared - confirming I was being scammed and given false assurances all along. Not surprisingly, some of those sellers disappeared from Ebay a month or two later.

[this applies to packages that have never been shown as accepted by the post office - packages that are sitting in a post office warehouse for weeks on end present a different story and a different solution]
