When our house got hit by the tornado two years ago it took us 8 months to get everything done. The contractor got fired after not doing anything for four months but even after I took over we still had problems with delivery. I finally had to replace the glass in some of the windows (instead of new windows) since they were months backlogged. And the house originally had shutters but they were 12 weeks out even after 8 month so we just never replaced them. We then sold the place and moved into a new construction which if we are lucky is our last house. Our new house was also destroyed by the same tornado when it was being built.
