As John as so aptly demonstrated, we cannot rely to easily accessible material or amateurs in our gambling research and ONLY work done by actual accredited historians can be trusted.

I fully acknowledge that I DO NOT hold a degree in history and am not a professional historian. Since there is a lot of my research in the ChipGuide for illegals, I am requesting that the MOGH and the CCA hire a team of professional historians to scrub each and every notation in the Guide and remove ANYTHING that cannot be 100% verified by professionals.

I understand this will take years to complete, and probably hundreds of thousands of dollars, but it will be worth the added dues to make sure we aren't misquoting a date or showing the occasional dice that were never used.
