Several businesses preceded the SD including the Stag Inn Bar, Nevada Sporting Goods, and
Southworth's Smoke Shop. The Silver Dollar opened in 1959. It was Harley's SD from 1960 to
1963. Fitzgerald later ran it until 1974. I remember he had a crap table in there that used $20
chips. I used used to buy newspapers in Southworth's before it closed. Brickies bar on 2nd st.
has the bar from the Stag Inn.
